In our FDA filed aseptic tubular-flow processor, multiple time/temperature combinations can be realized with a wide range of temperatures up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (148 degrees Centigrade). Numerous holding times from 2 seconds (legal FDA / PMO holding tube) up to 360 seconds can be connected after the main heater.  This versatility will satisfy each desired process: 

Thermisation ( 63-65 degrees centigrade for approx. 15 seconds) 
LTLT ( 63 degrees centigrade for approx. 30 minutes)
HTST ( 72-75 degrees centigrade for approx. 15-20 seconds) 
Ultra Pasteurization ( 125-138 degrees centigrade for approx. 2-4 seconds) 
UHT (135-140 degrees centigrade for approx. 2-6 seconds).

Thermisation, heat treatment used for in-activating fast growing micro-organisms during intermediate storage of the product.

LTLT, original pasteurization process which was batch processed. A process rarely used these days.

HTST, used for High Acid to produce ESL products. Used for Low Acid to produce pasteurized products.

Ultra pasteurization is used for High Acid to produce Aseptic products. Used for Low Acid to produce ESL products.

UHT process is used for Low Acid products to produce Aseptic products.

The capacity is up to 4.4 gallons per minute. The processor is set up in such a way as to make the transition to industrial equipment both easy and secure.

Homogenization of the product up to 5800 PSI (400 Bar) is possible. This can be done before or after the main heater, or in a combination of both (two-stage homogenization).

Thanks to the processor's versatility, a perfect process can be established for each and every product.

In addition, tests with direct-steam injection can be made. The steam-injection unit can be connected directly after the main heater. This unit increases the lethality (log reduction factor) of the process without any significant changes in the lactose value.

The layout of the processor is done in such a manner that several heating and cooling sections can be connected or not utilized. This ensures a perfect layout and process without the risk of "over cooking" the product.
